Fruit That Will Last

Welcome!!!

We are delighted to show how the Holy Spirit of God guides us in bearing much fruit in Bible Literacy, Music, Gardening, and Technology.

We hope the Holy Spirit will use this fruit (website) to draw you closer to Jesus for our Father God’s glory so that you, too, can bear much fruit – Fruit That Will Last. (John 15:16 NIV)

FRUIT THAT WILL LAST

We are mandated to go out into the world and make disciples. This mandate came from Jesus for all His disciples and is known as the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Anything we do will be fruitful if we abide in Jesus (John 15:4-8). As we bear much fruit in Jesus, we experience love, joy, peace, …(Galatians 5:22-23), which is the fruit of the Spirit. It is to our Father’s glory that we bear much fruit; Fruit That Will Last! John 15:8, 16 (NIV)

God Finished Creating And Rested From All His Work

God has provided everything and everyone you would ever need or desire for holy living in the world after He created it (Genesis 1:1 – Genesis 2:1-3). He rested and blessed the seventh day, which is to say that He enjoyed His work.

After sin and death entered into mankind because of Adam’s disobedience, God, out of His love for the world, sent His Son, Jesus, to save the world from perishing.

The most beautiful, excellent, and glorious gift God gave mankind because of His love for humanity was His Son, Jesus (John 3:16-17), the only one who could save humanity.

Obey God’s Word to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor (Mark 12:28-31), so that you can enter into God’s Rest and be Blessed (Hebrews 4:9-10).

Jesus Paid for Our Sins on the Cross! He said, "It is Finished".

God sent His one and only Son, Jesus, into a perishing, sinful world that He loved so that He could save them and give them eternal life (John 3:16-17).

Please understand that Jesus took every sin in the world and suffered God’s punishing wrath (Isaiah 53:4-6) so that those who believe in Him would be atoned for and become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).

After Jesus received a drink on the cross, He said, “It is finished,” and then He died (John 19:13). Jesus had finished His work atoning for the world’s sins.

Jesus rose from the dead three days after conquering sin and death, and He promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would come into the world to them, and He was taken up into heaven (Acts 1:8-9).

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came into the world like a mighty, rushing wind on the disciples (Acts 2:1-4).

The New Believer

Wherever you were and whatever you were doing (with a friend; at home; in the workplace; visiting a church; in a club, etc), you heard someone talking about Jesus, and you stopped what you were doing to really listen to what God was saying about His Son, Jesus. After listening, you realize that what you heard is the message of truth!

Ephesians 1:13a And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel (good news) of your salvation (saved for an eternal life with Jesus).

The Holy Spirit is Our Helper

We cannot do anything without Jesus (John 15:5). When Jesus went back to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit as our guide and comforter. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would “teach us all things, and He will remind us of everything Jesus said to us” (John 14:25-26).

As children of God, we have been given the Spirit of Jesus in our hearts, where we can cry “Our Father” (Galatians 4:6-7)! But, the most beautiful thing is that the Spirit we received talks to our spirit, saying that “we are children of God” (Romans 8:14-17).

Jesus taught that trusting and obeying His word shows that we love Him, and because we love Him, God the Father will love us also. Jesus promises those who love Him that He and the Father will come and make their home with each of us (John 14:22-23). This is most wonderful to have God, the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ living in us.

Look at how this wonderful union is mentioned in Ephesians 3:14-19. We are told that we are a part of a heavenly and earthly family. Each family member is strengthened by the Holy Spirit in our inner being so that Jesus Christ may live in our hearts by faith. Once that is done, we will begin to understand, with the other saints, the magnificent love of Christ and to be filled with the fullness of God, our Father.

The Spirit of Jesus continues to teach us to apply the Word of God in our daily lives and to spread His word to others (Matthew 28:16-20). Building this website helps us to impact the lives of others through bible literacy, music, gardening, and technology.

The Body Of Christ

If you are a child of God, our Father, and living for Jesus, our Lord, and Savior, you are a part of the Body of Christ. As the Holy Spirit guides you, God has given you duties with gifts to serve and lead in His Church.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

A TREE AND ITS FRUIT

Luke 6: 43  No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44  Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.

45c For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The Good Man

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart. Luke 6:45a

The Evil Man

An evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. Luke 6:45b

The Saved Man

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

1 - The Church Age - Part 1

The scoffers are already here claiming, "where is this Jesus, who promised to come back"?

2 Peter 3:3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

The scoffers forget that God had destroyed the world with water in the days of Noah. When He returns, He will destroy the universe and the ungodly with fire.

2 Peter 3:5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
